Glitter Iridescent Pink

Created in collaboration with future-focused Danish luxury fashion house GANNI, this exclusive shade of Submission Beauty™ glitter, as with all of our glitters, is zero-plastic. We’ve replaced the plastic base used in standard glitter with a base made with cellulose from eucalyptus trees. This plant-based material creates a unique iridescent effect without the use of toxic ingredients, giving the product a more sophisticated aesthetic and a broader range of applications than plastic glitter. Plus, it feels 40% softer on the skin and scalp.

Unlike plastic glitter, our glitter is not a scourge on the environment—once it is washed off the body, hair and clothing and comes in contact with bacteria and microorganisms in natural waterways, it quickly breaks down into harmless substances, earning it the highest level of independent certification for fresh water biodegradability in the world. Our glitter is also delivered in Zero-plastic packaging and shipping materials.

Submission Beauty™ glitter can be applied with the fingers, or using a makeup brush. Completely free of aluminum, it is the first and only glitter that is FDA-approved for usage on lips. Our glitter is bleed resistant and also suitable for the body as well as for water-based applications, soaps, oils, and more.

• Submission Beauty™ glitter is made using Bioglitter™, which has received TÜV ‘OK biodegradable WATER’ certification, the highest level of independent certification for fresh water biodegradability in the world. Made from natural and plant-derived material rather than plastic, it has been developed to biodegrade quickly and safely in the natural environment.

• We’ve replaced the polyester film used in traditional cosmetic glitter with a special form of cellulose extracted from hardwoods, primarily eucalyptus sourced from responsibly managed and certified plantations operating to PEFC™ standards.

Submission Beauty™ glitter is made using Bioglitter™. As supplied in dry form, Bioglitter™ has an indefinite shelf life, provided it is stored in a dry, cool environment, out of direct sunlight, away from direct heat sources and not exposed to microorganisms. We recommend that it be used within 3 years after opening. It is free of the 14 most common food allergens, though please be aware it is not edible.

This product is:
100% plastic-free, TÜV ‘OK biodegradable WATER’ certified, CMR-free, cruelty-free, GMO-free, allergen-free, non-toxic, carmine- and cochineal-free. FDA/USA compliant for use on lips and around eyes.
