Totebag

Submission Beauty™ Totebag is designed and sewn by Luis Cascante using deadstock cotton canvas sourced from FabScrap in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Hand-dyed in-house using 100% natural, organic and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified indigo from Botanical Colors. Screen-printed by hand in Los Angeles by Mali Koopman using natural dyes from Permaset, eliminating harsh chemical degraders and excess water waste from the printing process.

Each Submission Beauty™ Totebag is pre-washed several times following the dyeing process, but as a result of the natural materials used, trace dye may still rub off and cause minor stains. Please be cautious when wearing the bag with light colored clothing, or when coming in contact with light colored furniture and fabrics. To extend the life of your bag and minimize fading, hand wash with a gentle soap in cold water.

Using only natural dyes means that no harmful substances leach into our drinking water, waterways and oceans during production. Sourcing deadstock, unbleached cotton canvas fabric further minimizes waste.
