Hello baby! Welcoming Submission Casting + Management

Friends, family, lovers and crushes came together last night for an intimate celebratory dinner - and a much needed breather from the current LA heatwave - to celebrate Submission Casting + Management, the newest addition to our family of creative endeavors. Check out more below

Plot twist ! After years of frequent confusion and countless requests to offer our expertise and guidance with casting outside of our immediate sphere, we decided to run with it - and Submission Casting + Management is now up and running. 

Since as early as we can remember, actually starting with day 1 of the Submission Magazine platform, we have been inundated with model submissions from across the globe. It obviously gave us all the feels that since the very beginning, our community wanted to be a part of what we are creating in such a face-forward way - although admittedly, we weren’t sure exactly what to do with this unexpected early development... 

Our first exploration of this idea was with our Models of Tomorrow story back in ‘22, where we cast a group of hopeful models who had submitted their images to us, diving into their stories and giving them a platform for the first time. Back then, we famously stated that ‘Submission Beauty is many things, but a model agency we are not.” Well, flash forward to now - and we are moving in that direction, starting with our new casting agency. 

To celebrate, last night, we danced, dined and laughed furiously with a few of our favorite people in the courtyard outside of our LA Flagship.

This new addition to the Submission universe marks a natural expansion of our mission to cultivate and engage a wide-ranging creative community, unlocking the gatekept upper reaches of beauty and fashion to embrace real people, encourage honest interaction, and reset the beauty standard. 

The casting division works globally across the fields of advertising, fashion and beauty, introducing an inclusive set of rising, fresh faces to opportunities and experiences that will showcase and celebrate what makes each one of them unique.

At the helm of Submission Casting + Management is longtime friend Mollie Maguire, who brings more than a decade of deep experience in the industry, most recently as Casting Director in Global Brand Marketing at Nike. Under her leadership, the agency fields both street-cast and agency-represented models for a collection of international clients, and is building a roster of singular talent to be managed in-house.
