Everyday, Intensified: Submission Beauty x Caro Editions at CPHFW AW26

Submission Beauty joined Caro Editions for their AW26 show, where joy flirted openly.

Not the polite kind, or the kind that behaves. This was joy with a pulse - slipping through lace, swinging hips, exposed shoulders, the flash of a grin caught mid-stride. An intimacy charged with pleasure. Set within a tight, almost backroom-of-the-club-like space during Copenhagen Fashion Week, the show unfolded with warmth, humor, and an unapologetic sense of delight. Couture met the everyday, yes - but more importantly, couture met the body. Clothes designed to move, tease, seduce, and live.

Submission Beauty returned to the runway with Caro Editions to create a beauty look that leaned fully into that mood: sensual without stiffness, polished without control, glamour that flirted back. A collaboration grounded in long-standing creative trust and a shared belief that individuality, pleasure, and self-expression are not indulgences, but necessities.

This season, Caro Editions narrowed the frame and turned the volume up. The intimacy of the show amplified everything: texture, movement, personality, desire. Each model appeared individually, commanding the room on her own terms, striking poses, lingering just long enough to be felt.

The looks were all created specifically for the show, handcrafted by the brand’s long-time seamstresses using deadstock fabrics and upcycled materials. Lace wrapped itself around corduroy. Bows interrupted tailoring. Vintage references brushed up against everyday silhouettes. Couture techniques softened by humor, loosened by wearability, energized by joy.

There was a playful excess to it all - a knowing wink. A sense that fashion, at its best, should feel good to be inside of. That clothes can seduce without trying too hard.

The beauty followed suit. Skin was luminous, plush, touchable - radiance mixed directly into moisturizer with our Highlighter Lucid and Highlighter Deep, to create a glow that felt intimate and alive, catching the light as bodies moved through the space. The effect was almost doll-like, but never precious. Think softness with intent.

Eyes were left bare - no mascara, no liner - keeping expressions open, unguarded, and unmistakably human. Lips did the talking: all were stained in shades that pulled from the collection itself. Some whispered. Others flirted shamelessly.

With our Highlighter Deep, subtle contour traced bone structure just enough to enhance angles under the dramatic lighting, building dimension without erasing individuality. Nothing was uniform. Everything responded to the person wearing it.
