Submission Moves In (Watch Out, Sunset)

Submission Beauty just got a new zip code - and she’s not subtle about it. We’ve officially opened our new flagship store on 2153 W Sunset Blvd, bringing sustainable sparkle and our signature subversive attitude to the heart of LA: a little glam, a little grit, and no patience for plastic promises. Last night we threw a party to bless the space (and our new neighborhood), complete with glitter, drinks, and party favors. Echo Park, we’ve arrived. You’re welcome.

Last night, Submission Beauty christened its brand-new home on West Sunset Boulevard with a proper welcome: music loud enough to rattle the recycling bins, ice cold drinks flowing like gossip, and enough glitter to clog your third eye. Our new store is more than a storefront - it’s a portal. A place where beauty isn’t about perfection but permission. And a good highlighter, obviously.

Drinks? You better believe it. Juneshine kept the cool kids hydrated, Madre Mezcal kept the hot ones dancing, and Forest Floor handed out party favors that made more than a few guests rethink their entire connection to the mycelial network.

The space itself - our new Submission sanctuary - stayed packed, spilling out onto the sidewalk from start to finish. A steady stream of friends, freaks, beauty lovers, collaborators and industry insiders filtered in to scope the shelves. We’ve stocked it with our full collection of  conscious, actually-cool beauty, plus a few surprises that will rotate regularly. This isn’t a beige-walled wellness space. It’s a shrine to radical self-expression.

And yes, the glitter bar was in full force. Faces were painted, egos were expanded, and more than a few folks left looking like divine beings from a future where sustainability is sexy.

We’re proud to be in this part of L.A. - a city with just enough chaos to match our own - and we couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. Thank you to everyone who came, danced, painted their face and kissed a stranger.
